Title: Structural Geology of Border Province of Northeastern Mexico Adjacent to Zapata and Starr Counties, Texas

Author(s): William G. Kane (2)

Abstract:

The major structural features of the Eocene beds are shown in a way that enables the reader to get a fair idea of their relative size and significance. The several important anticlines, synclines, and fault zones are described, and a suggestion is made of a possibility of cross-folding influences from central Coahuila being projected eastward into the Gulf Coastal Plain of northern Mexico and South Texas.
